Do you want to improve your photographs?
These monthly sessions are for those with little or no experience with a camera but who may wish to improve their image composition skills, become more confident with camera functions or be interested in extending their photography further.
Monthly sessions will be based around introducing ‘how to make a better photograph’ leading to a discussion on basic functions of the camera. All will be introduced at a pace to suit.
You need a digital format camera and could even start with a good quality phone camera such as an iPhone or android with a view to buying a digital camera.

A bit about Simon:
Simon Gaddes – Quiet Life Photos
Simon has been involved with photography as a hobby for much of his life with his photography business developing in the last 3 years. His self taught photographic style, capturing predominantly natural world subjects, aims to make the subject shine without over-processing or camera ‘trickery’. A single camera and lens is used only, Simon’s little back to basics revolt with images manipulated post production using only simple ‘dark room’ style techniques. Time is spent making the image not at home in front of a computer screen. You can read more about Simon and see some of his work on his website Quiet Life Photos.
Simon currently offers formal evening sessions in Sheffield and Nottinghamshire and 1:1 workshop experiences throughout the East Midlands, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. His works are available online and displayed at many of the region’s art fairs and markets.
