About Andrew Valentine:
Andrew Valentine is an alternative country/folk singer songwriter from the small coastal town of Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders.

His earthy and honest song writing mixes styles from country, folk and rock. Over the last two years Andrew has released two self-funded home studio demos, ‘Sirens Song” and ‘Cast the Sails’. Both were met with great success in his native country as well as reaching over to Canada and the U.S.A.

In March 2016 Andrew released his debut E.P. ‘Hand Over Fist’ which saw him host a sold out launch event at the highly acclaimed Hemelvaart Bier Cafe. Andrew released the first single from his E.P entitled ‘Castles’ (via Independent Ear) on September 2 2016. This pays homage to his early work, whilst still showing the evolution of a talented musician to an artist. Over the last year Andrew has opened for acts such as Skinny Living, Georgie, Johnny Hates Jazz, Emily Middlemas and Hunter and The Bear to name just a few.

Over the summer months of 2016 Andrew and his band have played on stages Lindisfarne festival, Bedale Fringe Festival and String theory as well as other local and national events.

2017 looks bright for this emerging musician with his second E.P ‘Somewhere on the Moon’ dropping in February and already receiving praise from the brilliant Jim Gellatly as well as radio airplay on Amazing Radio.

In 2016 Andrew was signed to Independent Ear (a Universal Music subsidiary).
