The Workshop Details:
Do your photos never quite turn out the way you want them to? Are you worried about taking your camera off auto? Would you like to take better photos?
If you answer yes to any of these questions then the following workshop is for you:
This workshop is to help you to use the basic settings on your camera and support you to create some effective and balanced photos in available light. You will be able to identify and use different settings in your menu, learn about exposure and practice your newly found skills.
A digital camera – any type
A fully charged battery (spares if your camera takes domestic batteries)
An SD card or CF card
Flat sturdy footwear
Clothing to suit the weather (in case we are able to photo outside)
Pen and paper to make notes
Any detachable lenses you may own
You need no prior experience and you will learn in a friendly environment with Tina Waller, an experienced teacher and artist who is very patient with new learners.
This is a stand alone workshop but if you are inspired you may like to attend the other two workshops to improve your skills
Tina teaches art and photography in various further education settings, from beginners’ classes to foundation degree level. She has a First Class BA Honours Degree in Fine and Applied Arts, later gaining a teaching degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, in order to share her passion for art with others. Tina is an exhibiting artist with the East Coast 7 group and member of an alumni post graduate study group for regional artists.
