About The Workshop:

This Dayschool will look at how to make your writing accessible to a wider audience. This might mean publication so the submission process and current markets will be some of the areas covered. However, the session is also aimed at those people who are simply interested in learning about ways of redrafting and editing so that the final version of their piece – whether that is prose, poetry or script – is as polished as it can be. Led by published writer Sue Wilsea this Dayschool is suitable for all levels of experience.

About Sue:

Sue’s work is with words, whether that’s writing, performing or teaching. Her fiction and poetry has been widely published and broadcast with her first collection of short stories, Staying Afloat, being published by Valley Press in 2012 and her second Raw Material in November 2016. In 2014 she gained an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction ) from Newcastle University. As a freelance Arts practitioner Sue currently delivers Creative Writing classes and undertakes a wide range of writing / literature based projects. She has four grown-up children, lives with her husband in North Lincolnshire and buys too many books and earrings.
