About this session:

Embrace all things festive by creating a few gilded Christmas decorations – from wood stars and snowflakes to an exciting Victorian walnut ornament. While learning basics of gold-leaf gilding (including silver and copper leaf) you’ll go home with a few ornaments that will make your tree shine or make a lovely gift for your friends and family.

What to expect:
During Art Club we explore a range of topics using different materials including guauche and acrylic paint, pencil, collage and crayons, along with using various methods, both 2D and 3D and working in different sizes. Children will explore art using observation, imagination as well as taught techniques. Art Club aims to enrich learning and development as well as offering a creative fun and relaxing experience.

Parents + carers can choose to stay during the session but we are more than happy for children to be left with us.

You can see more details of previous sessions on our Art Club Facebook page.

Marianna and Emma take Art club alternate sessions, offering different styles and experiences.
